Business Sponsors/Members

The Kachemak Nordic Ski Club appreciates all of our business sponsors or members! Some businesses contribute cash and some give in-kind contributions of goods or services. The cash is valuable because it is needed for our general operating costs. In-kind contributions allow us to do more with the cash that we receive. Some small business owners are also skiers and have combined their business and family memberships. Other businesses contribute to support the skiing community and promote winter tourism.

The Banner Club

$1000 or more Cash Donation or In-Kind Contribution

Business, that give $1000 or more cash or in-kind contribution in one ski season, are in The Banner Club. Banners have been hung on the tunnel fencing at the Lookout Mountain Nordic Ski Area. As more businesses contribute we will add more banners.

T-shirt Sponsor 2012: $200 Cash Donation

We plan to print event t-shirts for the Sea to Ski this year. Participants can order t-shirts when they pre-register for the event. Business sponsors or members who join at the $200 cash or more level will have their name on the back of the t-shirt. We appreciate all the businesses that supported the 2011 Marathon t-shirt.

Trailhead Business Sponsors

We will post the names of all Business Sponsors at the Trailheads this year. The names will be posted at the kiosks where possible and in the outhouses if that is the only secure place. All Businesses will also be listed on our website.

PATRON HATS

All individual, family and business members receive PATRON HATS for cash donations of $150. For each $150 you may pick up a KNSC hat at Homer Saw and Cycle. Example: Individual Patron Membership $150 = 1 hat; Super Family Membership $200 = 1 hat; Patron Family Membership $300 = 2 hats; Business membership $500 = 3 hats.
