Sunday, February 17
NOON – 4:00pm
Dress in your best classic costume and/or ski on wooden skis!
PARKING: Use the Baycrest D.O.T. Trailhead
(Limited alternate parking at Roger’s Loop Trailhead for shorter course)
It is about 5km from the parking lot to the first stop, and is mostly uphill. There will be signs pointing the way on a groomed trail (perfect for skate or classic skiing). Once you’re at the first stop the hard part is over! Enjoy a beverage then make the short ski over to the second stop where there will be more goodies and the door prizes will be awarded. Warm yourself by the fire then enjoy the (mostly) downhill ski back to your car!
First Stop 12:30 – 2:00
@ Alaska Ridgetop Inn
Second Stop 2:00 – 4:00
@ Spurkland residence
Bring the family, but please leave the dogs at home. This course passes through private properties.
