MEMBERSHIP
The Kachemak Nordic Ski Club acquires much of its funding through memberships. Although there is no fee for general recreational skiing on our trails, events have participation fees. If you appreciate our trails, please support the club by becoming a member. Annual memberships have many categories. Individuals can join at the Basic $25, Super User $50, or Patron $150 levels. Families can join at the $50, $100, $300 or more levels. Businesses can join by making in-kind or cash donations. We appreciate all levels of participation in our goal of promoting skiing in the Kachemak Bay area.

The address label from your Alaska Nordic Skier, which has the season of your membership next to your name, is your membership card.

Aside from supporting the development and grooming of ski trails, there are other benefits of membership in the KNSC. Homer Saw and Cycle and Chain Reaction Sports in Ulmer’s True Value Drug Store are supporters of the KNSC. Both offer special deals to our members.

HOMER SAW AND CYCLE offers a 10% discount on all ski related items and a 15% discount on ski packages for all current members of the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club. You must ask for the discount. Membership forms can be filled out and turned in at Homer Saw and Cycle.

CHAIN REACTION SPORTS IN ULMER’S TRUE VALUE DRUG STORE offers a 15% discount on all ski equipment and winter gear to club members. There is also a 20% discount for all school ski team members and coaches, and all Junior Nordic participants. Chain Reaction will also provide a base prep free with your purchase of skis. Your membership should be current to qualify for this benefit. Be sure to ask about the discount for club members. CHAIN REACTION will honor all Alaska Nordic Skier address labels even if you are from Anchorage, Fairbanks or the other clubs.
