KNSC Junior Nordic Ski Program
$15 per child if registered by January 1. (After January 1, late registration is $25 per child.) Registering early allows KNSC time to organize enough volunteer coaches to provide quality coaching.

Program Registration Form and Waiver

KNSC offers this cross-country ski program for youth ages 4 -13. Lessons will be on Saturdays, January 28 – March 3, 2012,  from 1:00-2:30pm at the Lookout Mountain Ski Trails. The coach/skier ratio is about 8 to 1, and we also try to have Coach Helpers.  All Coaches and helpers are volunteers. The fees from this program support grooming and plowing of the trails.

The quality and commitment of our JN coaches and helpers is a big reason why the program has great participation (averaging 65-80 youth per season).  The skier’s age and ability are the criteria for grouping.

We encourage anyone who has interest in coaching or being a Coach Helper to please call us and indicate this on the sign up form.  You can help out a lot by being a helper, reducing the coach/skier ratio and adding valuable support for the group! This is a FUN ski program that teaches a healthy lifetime sport to children. (They also learn to ski really fast!)
