HOMESCHOOL SKI PROGRAM

New to 2024, KNSC is offering an 8-week program for Homer children who are homeschooled through Connections or Idea.

You must be a member of KNSC to register.

Classes will occur on weekdays, once per week for each age group. 
SCHEDULE:
Mondays 1-2:30pm Ages 5-7 Classic
Tuesdays 1-2:30pm Ages 8-9 Classic
Wednesdays 1-2:30pm Ages 10-12 Classic
Thursdays 1-2:30pm Ages 13-18 Classic
Fridays 12-1:15pm Ages 8-12 Skate
Fridays 1:45-3:00pm Ages 13-18 Skate

Cost is $200 per child for 8 sessions, lessons run January 15-March 8 2024.

Special Note:  We will make an effort to attempt to have children in the same family ski at the same time, please contact Megan at megancorazza@hotmail.com to determine which group to schedule them for.

Coach Bio: Instructor Bio:  Megan Corazza is a Level 3 PSIA-AASI Nordic Ski Instructor, and a Child Specialist level 2 with PSIA-AASI.  She was selected for the PSIA-AASI National Team for the 2012-2016 term and spent those 4 years co-authoring the Nordic Technical Manual and traveling nationally and internationally to coach skiing and work with instructors.  She founded Homer Women's Nordic in 2007 and head coached the program through 2015.  She has experience coaching adaptive skiers and many years coaching the high school ski team and the Junior Nordic Program.  She raced for Colorado Rocky Mountain School, Homer High School and Whitman College.  She was born and raised in Homer and loves to help skiers fall in love with the sport.
